Towards the Other Side of the Mountain Gate
“Fuku-Tei” faces our Honkan, and before you arrive there, you will pass through a grand mountain gate, and come down a gentle-sloping hill through a group of trees.
The entrances of the guest rooms are those of detached homes, and each room has a nameplate featuring the names of plants such as “Shara” (from a sal tree), “Konara” (from a Konara oak), and “Sakura” (from the Japanese for cherry blossom).
